Project Description

This special educational needs academy had an outdated hydrotherapy pool consisting of a plastic domestic tub, when Wearside Civil Engineering were called in to design and build a more up to date facility the existing unit had sat derelict and unused for many years.

 

We were able to design a bespoke concrete tiled pool with underwater lights, therapy jets and air injectors with unique easy access stainless steel step unit.

 

We also undertook the builders work and introduced new disabled WC and was/shower facilities with light therapy built into the new ceiling.

 

The pool is now in constant use and loved by staff and users alike.
